- I acknowledge that I confidently believe that I am sufficiently fit and healthy to participate in this swimming camp and can swim 1-2km comfortably in the sea and can swim 400m Freestyle faster than 9 minutes in the pool.
- I acknowledge that swimming pools and open water involves the real risk of serious injury or even death from various causes including (but not limited to) overexertion, equipment failure, dehydration and/or accidents with other participants, interaction with marine life, and collision with structures.
- By participating, I accept all risks necessarily flowing from my participation which could result in loss of life or permanent injury. Accordingly, I release all persons or corporations associated directly or indirectly with the conduct of the camp from all claims, demands and proceedings arising out of my participation and I hereby indemnify them against all liability (including liability for their negligence and the negligence of others) for all injury, loss or damage arising out of or connected with my participation in this camp.
- I take full responsibility for my health, well-being, and safety at all time. I take responsibility for illness, injuries or death related to use of any of our products or services. This includes but is not limited to public pools and open water during the training sessions.
- I accept that it is my responsibility to contact Outpace Swimming should any information on my registration need to be updated e.g. emergency contact details.
- I consent to receiving any medical treatment that the local medical staff think is necessary during or after the camp if, due to injury, I am unable to provide consent.
- I consent to Outpace Swimming using my name, image and likeness before, during or after the camp for camp promotional purposes in any marketing media, social media, official sponsor campaigns and for broadcasting or reporting purposes in any media.
- I understand that safety precautions undertaken by Outpace Swimming are a service to me but are not a guarantee of safety.
- I am fully responsible for the security of my personal possessions during the camp.
- I acknowledge that by reason of circumstances beyond the control of Outpace Swimming, it may become necessary or desirable to change the format of the camp schedule, the swim locations, and if that occurs, I consent to the changes and I agree that each and every one of the conditions herein set out shall apply to the changes.
- I agree to the following cancellation policies:
- Cancellation by you: Due to the cost involved in securing your booking, a cancellation fee will be charged if you choose not to attend the camp. Your payment is fully refundable less the 500 NZD deposit up to 90 days before the start day of the camp. Between 90 and 60 days we will refund 50% of your payments (less the non-refundable 500 NZD deposit). Cancellations made less than 60 days prior to the camp start date will incur a 100% cost.
- Cancellation by Outpace Swimming: In the unlikely event that Outpace Swim Camp cannot be held on the advertised dates for reasons outside of organisers control caused by Acts of God, or force majeure such as (but not restricted to) weather or equipment disruptions, acts of government or other authorities, communicable diseases, wars, hostilities, civil disturbances, strikes, riots, pilferage, medical or customs regulations or requirements), the camp will be rescheduled and the deposit and any instalment payments will be transferred in full to this rescheduled camp. If you choose not to attend the rescheduled camp then a 500 NZD cancellation fee will apply, with any excess payments refunded to you.
- Intellectual property: I will not share the training plans or other resources provided by Outpace Swimming with anyone else.
- I hereby certify that I am 18 years of age or older.
